One of the dumbest things I did was not having a mentor show me the ropes.

I started out as an illusionist. I learned marketing on my own and it took me a long time to figure it out.

Then I started an online brand in the public speaking niche. And like a dummy, I went at it alone…again.

And can you guess what happened? Yup. It took me a long time to make sales online.

I started out by focusing on content creation. I created content on a daily basis.

And do you know how many sales I generated? Let’s just say it sucked.

Eventually I started modeling a company that generated over $50 million a year in sales. I dissected what they were doing differently than me.

One thing they did differently is that they emailed every day.

I thought, “Wow. Emailing your list every day? That’s a little too much.”

Then I said to myself, “Uh Benji…they’re doing over $50 million in sales. I think they know a tad bit more than you do.”

So I started emailing every day.

Long story short, I hit $93,000 in a month.

When I told my mom, she said “Wait…you mean NINETY-THREE-HUNDRED DOLLARS. Right?”

I said, “No. Ninety-three-THOUNSAND in a month.”

I think she gasped for air at that point.

I’m not saying this to impress you. I’m saying this to show you the impact someone can have on your life if you learn from the right people. If you get the right mentorship.
